1 to 1 Devices

Stevens Elementary 1:1 Device Mission

Steven's one-to-one device program empowers our students to become responsible life-long learners in a global society by personalizing learning and fostering critical thinking, communication, and creativity in a technology-rich, blended learning environment.

Stevens Elementary began our 1:1 device program six years ago with every student being issued an iPad. As of 2019 Kindergarten, first, and second graders use iPads and our third, fourth, and fifth graders use Chromebooks.

  • iPads and Chromebooks are checked out to individual students for the school year.

Starting in the 2019-2020 school year, all Jeffco 5th and 9th graders received a district-issued learning device through the district 1:1 program. 5th grade students will use the same device until 9th grade when they will receive a new device. These 5th and 9th grade students will pay a $50/year Personalized Technology Use Fee This entire amount of this fee goes back to the district 1:1 program to cover the costs associated with sustaining the program: the device and protective case, digital learning tools, internet filtering, bandwidth, and additional support
Accident Warranties can be purchased by families. Click HERE for information. Go to the TechforEd Community website for additional information about this program.
