Chalkbeat Colorado: A community advisory group recommended the $135 million amount in May. The group proposed the district spend $75 million on staff salaries and career and technical education programming and $60 million on building maintenance and technology.

Jeffco’s Board of Education has officially voted to confirm Dr. Rob Stein as Interim Superintendent, effective July 6. With this official confirmation, our district leadership team is excited to begin transition work with Dr. Stein to ensure a strong, steady start to the 2026–27 school year.
