Meet the Principal

Dear Stevens Community,

I have been in education for 22 years as of the 2023-24 school year and love each day that I get to serve as the leader at Stevens Elementary. I have taught and been an instructional coach at the elementary level. In the past 10 years, I have been a part of this community as a principal, assistant principal and instructional coach.

This school has grown and changed over the years as we continue working toward greatness! We look forward to our growth and loving each student and family that enters our doors. 

Stevens is a crew. We work to build relationships and care for one another, both the scholars and the staff. Every scholar needs to become part of our crew and connect with someone, not just their peers but also a caring adult who believes in them.

Collaboration is key to the hard work that we do at Stevens. Our crew works together to support and grow our scholars. I am committed to the growth of people, and I nurture a school culture of collective learning and efficacy.

I have learned that leadership is about being present for people and building our crew. I will commit to giving our staff and scholars the structures, support and space they need to feel supported so they can be their best.

At home, I have two elementary-aged daughters, a supportive husband and a loving dog. We enjoy Friday night dance parties in the kitchen, playing games and being together as a family.

Each day, we continue to support each other and become the best versions of ourselves.
